OTR Greenacres to open its doors with Free GYG Burritos

On Thursday 12 September, OTR will re-open its Greenacres store bringing the first Guzman Y Gomez to Adelaide’s north eastern suburbs and, to celebrate, will be offering FREE burritos from 12pm – 8pm, expecting to give away over 5,000 burritos to the local community!

The Greenacres site has been completely rebuilt in just 6 months and will be the fourth Guzman Y Gomez store in South Australia, joining restaurants located on King William Street and Gouger Street in the CBD, and Salisbury Downs. Guzman Y Gomez is Australia’s most authentic Mexican taqueria with a cult following around the country, specialising in Mexican dishes such as tacos, nachos and burritos prepared fresh on site using the most authentic and ethically-sourced ingredients.

The redeveloped Greenacres OTR store offers the ultimate in convenience retailing, making life easier for the community by being open 24/7 and including a drive thru Guzman Y Gomez. The store will offer a premium range of services including locally-roasted, barista-made C Coffee, EAT on-the-go meals and snacks, Moe’s Dog & Shake, OhJ! freshly-squeezed orange juice, CHILL frozen drinks, famous Krispy Kreme doughnuts, Fuel and more.

Darryl Cotter, General Manager Operations said, “The redevelopment of OTR Greenacres is part of OTR’s investment program which has seen ten newly built or refurbished OTR stores in the past 12 months, with a further eight to open in the coming months.

“OTR is the state’s most innovative leading convenience retailer and we are proud to be investing into our stores. We aim to give customers a better in-store experience and champion job growth within South Australia, with 400 positions being created this year alone,” continued Mr Cotter.

OTR stores that are opening in coming months include the newly-built Trinity Gardens, Bordertown, Rundle Street, Croydon Park, Port Lincoln and, across the Victorian border, two stores in Horsham and one in Mildura.

“We are also encouraging all OTR customers to download the OTR App to help us give back to the community through our OTRGive program, which has donated over $153,000 to more than 24 community groups in South Australia. Customers who download the OTR App will be able to order a free C Coffee from our OTR stores, along with added convenience to pre-order food and pay for fuel directly on the OTR App,” continued Mr Cotter.

“We are a passionate South Australian family business who are proud to be generating jobs and investing in the future of South Australia,” concluded Mr Cotter.
