When was the last time your cup of coffee changed a life? Next week it can.
Take a Coffee Break at OTR from September 23rd to 29th and help the homeless.
That’s the message from AnglicareSA, which today officially launched its Coffee Break partnership with OTR aiming to raise $50,000 for homelessness services.
OTR will donate $1 to AnglicareSA for every C Coffee purchased with the OTR App between Saturday 23rd and Friday 29th September 2017.
AnglicareSA CEO Peter Sandeman said that the simple act of buying a coffee will make a big difference.
“Homelessness is a major driver of the work that AnglicareSA does across its services and programs,” said Peter.
“It’s a growing problem in Adelaide where we have seen a 44 percent increase in the number of people sleeping rough in the past year alone.
“Our services, which include emergency assistance and poverty relief, housing support, financial counselling and family mediation, make a big difference in the lives of those we serve, but we can’t do this alone.
“It is wonderful to have a commercial partner such as OTR support our work with the homeless and those at risk of homelessness.
“I encourage all coffee-drinking South Australians to get behind this initiative and make their coffee count.”
The OTR App can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. C Coffee is located at 110 OTR sites across metro and regional South Australia.
