OTR Delivers Convenience and Jobs to the Evanston Community
South Australia’s leading retailer and largest private employer, Peregrine Corporation, continues to invest in South Australia with the opening of OTR Evanston this Thursday 22 December. The store has created a number of jobs in the construction and 20 ongoing retail jobs filled from the local community.
OTR Evanston offers the ultimate in convenience retailing to make life easier for the community. The store offers a range of services 24/7 including locally roasted, barista made coffee, a carefully curated range of supermarket essentials, Moe’s Dog & Shake, Oh J! freshly squeezed orange juice made daily, CHILL, Lotto as well as the full range of BP Ultimate Fuel.
Peter Piliouras, OTR Chief Operating Officer, said “OTR are proud to be creating jobs in construction, food manufacturing and retail sectors especially for the regional areas of South Australia.”
Since late November OTR has opened stores at Kapunda and Angle Vale, and this week opens stores in Evanston and Peterhead.
“The OTR team is very proud to be opening new stores and creating much needed jobs for local regional communities. Since 2014 OTR has created 1000 jobs for South Australia,” said Peter.
OTR, which employs more than 2800 locals, currently has further vacancies for around 80 roles across metropolitan and regional Adelaide in its convenience and food brands; Oporto, Subway, Wokinabox and Hungry Jack’s.
“We want to fill 80 positions immediately in food and retail to work in both crew and management roles in a full time, part time or casual capacity. We want school leavers looking for a casual job over the summer period with little or no experience to apply as well as people with greater experience and maturity,” continued Peter.
“At OTR we are passionate about creating job and training opportunities for local South Australians. We are a South Australian family business that is proud to be generating jobs and investing in the future of South Australia and we welcome the Evanston community to our customer network,” concluded Peter.
OTR are encouraging anyone looking for employment in the retail sector to get in contact with Danielle Clavell in the HR team; email: email@example.com
